Soon - Lab for Possible Futures

Sci-fi book club in Soon: Can we read our way to a new nature?

Can we read our way to a new nature?

We are facing a biodiversity crisis. This calls for new ways of understanding nature and ourselves. That is why we turn to art and literature. We believe that science fiction can help us imagine alternative futures and reveal new possibilities for action.

In Soon - lab for possible futures' book club, we explore how literature can open our eyes to what the world might become. We believe that fundamental ideas are often born in art. We read books that challenge and transform how we imagine nature and the world. But we do not stop at reading; we also explore how insights from literature can be translated into action. The book club is a space where new perspectives emerge and are tested in practice.

We meet from 4:00–5:30 PM at Thoravej 29.
